Former Minister of Environment under Goodluck Jonathan administration, Mrs. Laurentia Laraba Mallam and her husband, Pius Mallam, 73, who were kidnapped by gunmen have regained their freedom.
The couple were abducted in Kaduna State on Monday night.
The family reportedly paid an undisclosed sum for ransom before the kidnappers released the couple. The kidnappers initially demanded a N10million ransom. The couple was kidnapped at gunpoint while travelling along the Kaduna-Abuja expressway.
