President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday commiserated with Nigeria’s leading entrepreneur, Alhaji Aliko Dangote on the death of his eldest brother, Alhaji Garba Dangote, which occurred on Thursday in Kano.
According to a statement issued by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, the president joined Alhaji Dangote and members of his family to pray that Almighty Allah will receive his late brother’s soul and grant him eternal rest in Paradise.
Alhaji Garba Dangote died on Thursday after a brief illness, which became complicated on Wednesday with a massive stroke.
The 80-year-old businessman and first son of the Dangote dynasty was buried the same Thursday, in accordance with Islamic rites.
