President Goodluck Jonathan has sent to the Senate for screening and approval, names of eight nominees for ministerial appointment.

Senate President, David Mark read the names at the seating on Tuesday.

The nominees include senator Musiliu Obanikoro from Lagos state, Mrs Patricia Akwashiki from Nasarawa; Mrs Hauwa
