President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday received his predecessor, former President Goodluck Jonathan and the duo held a close-door meeting within the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Jonathan, who was visiting his host for the second time since he left office in May, arrived at exactly 2.00pm and proceeded to the New Banquet Hall of the State House where the meeting was held.
The meeting did not last more than 10 minutes as the former President left at exactly 2.13pm.
It was learnt that the visit could be connected with the recent international assignment embarked upon by the former President.
Jonathan was the head of a commonwealth team to monitor the general election in Tanzania.
