Former President Goodluck Jonathan’s spokesman, Rueben Abati has told the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) that he indeed collected the sum of N50 million from the former national security adviser Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd).

Reuben Abati who is still in the custody of EFCC said he distributed the money as Sallah and Christmas gifts for Journalists.

The former spokesman was invited to the anti-corruption body’s headquarters in Abuja on 24th October to explain the misappropriation of funds through his former office.
