DSS invites Bawa, suspended EFCC chairman for probe

Barely hours after his suspension, Bawa was summoned  by the Department of State Services (DSS) for some investigative activities concerning him.

A terse statement by Peter Afunanya, Public Relations Officer, Department of State Services, reads:

“The Department of State Services (DSS) has invited Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa, the suspended Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Bawa arrived a few hours ago. The invitation relates to some investigative activities concerning him.”
