The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has elected Rev. Supo Ayokunle as it’s new president.
Rev. Supo Ayokunle would be succeeding Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, the outgoing president of the association.
Ayokunle, president of the Nigerian Baptist Convention (NBC) beat Elder Joseph Otubu of the Motailatu Church Cherubim and Seraphim Movement (MCCSW) by 54 votes to 28.
The election was conducted at the the Christian Ecumenical Centre, Abuja on Tuesday.
