Northern Governors Adopt Jang for NGF Chairmanship Election

Members of the Northern States Governors’ Forum emerged from its meeting on Friday to announce its adoption of Governor of Plateau State, Jonah Jang as its candidate for the chairmanship of the larger Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF)election scheduled for tonight.

The Northern States Governors’ Forum comprises the North-Central (Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger and Plateau States), North-Eastern (Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba and Yobe States) and North-Western (Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara States. More to come.
