Atletico Emerge Winner of 2012-13 Copa-Del Rey

In a Madrid derby that went into extra time, Atletico Madrid found the back of the net twice to emerge winner of the 2012 -13 Copa Del Rey.Thus ending  fourteen years of hurt. Atletico last beat Madrid in 1999.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who was sent off via a red card, gave Real Madrid an early lead. But goals from Diego Costa and Miranda ensured that ATLETICO MADRID secured their tenth Copa del Rey title. Final scores ATM 2: RMD 1.
