Jonathan Sacks MD of Nigerian Ports Authority, Appoints Ado Bayero as Replacement

President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday sacked Mallam Habib Abdullahi as the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority.

No reason was given for the sack as confirmed by presidential spokesman, Dr. Reuben Abati.

He also announced the appointment of Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Ado Bayero, a lawyer, as the new Managing Director of the NPA.

“The appointment of the new NPA Managing Director takes effect from tomorrow, Thursday, April 30 2015,” Abati said in a press release.

“President Jonathan thanks the outgoing Managing Director for his services and wishes well in his future endeavours.”
